DAY
01

Quito-Coca
by plane (depart 09:30 the same day) or by public bus (must leave
one day before). We will travel by small pick up or by bus to
Shiripuno Bridge( 3 hrs aprox.). Lunch. Then we’ll take the motor
canoe until the camp site; the navigation could be approximately for
4 hours. From the canoe, you’ll be able to take pictures and see
the wide variety of flora and fauna. Dinner and lodging.

DAY
02
|
|
After breakfast long walk in the primary forest with an Indian guide he will give you an explanation about the plants used as a natural medicine as well the use of the blow pipe for hunting. Lunch. In the afternoon piranha fishing. After dinner night trip by canoes to see caimans.

DAY 03
|
|
Breakfast. Canoe down the Shiripuno until the Cononaco river, admiring some species like parrots, toucans, monkeys and so on. Lunch. Small walk in the jungle, then piranha fishing (optional). Night excursions in the surroundings of the camping place. Dinner and lodging in tents.

DAY 04
|
|
Breakfast, canoe down to Sandoval the furthest and most primitive community in the jungle. Lunch. In the afternoon visit to the village where you can admire their customs and handicrafts. Dinner and lodging in tents.

DAY 05 |
|
After breakfast demonstration by an Indian guide the elaboration of the curare, poison utilized to hunt animals with the blow pipe and dards. Lunch. In the afternoon short walk in the jungle. Dinner. Night excursion to see insects (optional).

DAY 06 |
|
Breakfast, navigation to come back to the bridge. We will combined the canoe and walks in the jungle. Dinner and lodging in tents.

DAY 07 |
|
Breakfast, de same as the 6th day

DAY 08 |
|
Arrival to the bridge, where our car will take us back to Coca. End of program.
